The New Motto for 2008!!
Start it early!!!
A POEM ABOUT OUR GIRLFRIENDS Someone will always be prettier. Someone will always be skinnier.Someone will always be smarter. Some of their houses will be bigger. Some will drive a better car. Their children will do better in school. And their husband will fix more things around the house.. So let it go, and love you and your circumstances. Think about it! The prettiest woman in the world can have hell in her heart. And the most highly favored woman on your job may be unable to have children. And the richest woman you know, she's got the car, the house, the clothes~~~~ might be lonely. And the word says, 'If I have not Love, I am nothing.' So, again, love you. Love who you are. Look in the mirror in the morning and smile and say, 'I am too Blessed to be Stressed and too Anointed, to be Disappointed!' 'Winners make things happen~~ Losers let things happen.' Be 'Blessed' Ladies~~~~~ and pass this on to encourage another woman. 'To the world you might be one person, but to the one person you just sent this to, it could mean so much.' SEND THIS TO YOUR FAVORITE WOMEN ~~ I JUST DID!
Sorry I haven't blogged in a few days but I have been busy at work and home. I will visit soon as I can. I want everyone to put a friend and coworker of mine in their prayers. She is in her early 20's and 6 monthes pregnant. She is now in the hospital because the doctor found 6 cysts on her placenta and it has stopped her baby from growing and she may lose it at any time. She is getting steroid shots every hour to increase the babys lungs for an early delivery. Last I heard the baby was only 2 inches long and as far as I know the baby's vitals are ok so far. I keep everyone posted as I hear.

Tag: New Year’s Tradition
Crystal tagged me with this New Year's meme about my New Year's good luck traditions a few days ago and I just got the chance to do this one. Okay, here goes:
Rule:Copy the person and persons' names that sent it to you and add your own at the bottom of the list. It really helps to build community.Let's start it here!
*My mom used to collect some coins and when the new year comes she put the coins in a bowl and shake it to create sounds. She said its good luck for money throughout the year. And also wearing dotted dresses on new year don't know why. CC/chalyza/keep
*My old folks always told us to avoid spending money on new years day. They said, once you spend on the first day of the year, you like to spend the rest of the year.Behind d Scenes of ME/ Retchel’s Pure Life/ A little bit of me
*I grew up believing that if you have some money on your pocket (whatever you're wearing) come New Year's eve it will ensure steady flow of income throughout the year. The other belief is that the main door of the house should be wide open come New Year's eve so that good luck will be ushered in. Juliana of MY WORLD and JULIANA’S LAIR.
*I don't know if what I am about to write is a new year's tradition or not. In my place, most people will 'jump' into the sea or take a shower as soon as the clock strikes to 12 in New Year's Eve to get rid of all the bad lucks in the previous year. ;D ~ CHOC MINT GIRL~
*I grew up believeing you have to eat cabbage on New Year's Day to bring you good luck throughout the year.Wierd I know but that is what I was taught. Michelle of Rusin Roundup.
I'm going to tag Stacy of My Thoughts.
