Long Week!!!

Well, here's my week so far. I took two days cleaning my kitchen. I pulled out all the stuff in the cabinets and washed them out, I also washed any and all dishes. I finally got to where I could finally mop the floor. It was a lot of work but it was worth it. Now the task will be to get everyone else in this house to help keep it that way. The only thing I have left to do in there is the fridge. I hate cleaning it out but it needs done. I got down & dirty with the cleaning, I pulled out the fridge to sweep & mop under it and did the same thing with the stove.

I took the kids out Trick or Treating, they had an absolute blast. I drive them around to family mostly but I also took them around our neighborhood and to a Church that passed out candy. Here is a pic of the kids in their costumes. Sis wanted to be a Princess and my son wanted to be Freddy Kruger.

I also had a doctor's appointment for my wrist again. He said I could back to work on November 10Th with a 20 pound weight limit, but my boss said she wouldn't let me back till I had zero restrictions. Hopefully that will be soon considering I go to physical therapy 3 times a week. For those who didn't know I fell back in August on my right hand and fractured my wrist in 2 locations. I was in a cast for 6 weeks. The fracture is healed but getting the strength back is what I'm trying to do now.

I had my son's parent/teacher conference yesterday. She said the biggest problem she has with him is his rushing through his work and not double checking. Otherwise he is a great edition to the classroom. She also told me that when he is asked a question on a reading assignment he gives the right answer the vast majority of the time but if he has to write down the answer he misses it most of the time. So I'm trying to figure out a way to help him with this. ( He has been labeled ADHD). She also said that he is a very intelligent boy he just needs to learn to slow down on his work. Here is a copy of his report card. His behavior and work study grades have never been above a C- before this school year. He is in 5Th grade by the way.

Sorry it's so light, but overall he didn't do to bad.
Conduct B-, Work Study B-, Reading D+, Writing Process C, Language in Use C+, Math C-,
Social Studies C, Science C-, Art, Music, & Physical Education S Teacher Comments: "Gage is quite capable and can be very creative."

Now all I have to do is get the rest of the house done and get laundry caught up. I really need to figure out a schedule or something to help keep this house cleaned up.

This week I also started working on a family photo DVD for my mom's side of the family. I finally figured put how to add the names to the photos. Now if I could figure out the best music for it I would be set. So far I'm considering Louis Armstrong's "What a Wonderful World", Eric Clapton "Tears In Heaven", Kenny G " Love Song", and maybe also Mozart and /or Beethoven. Not sure yet. Maybe it will come to me eventually. Anyway I thinks that's all for now. God Bless:)

Your son is doing really good seeing as he is ADHD. My Honey Bunny's son is ADHD and not doing so well. He is also in 5th grade. I think he needs a little more structure but I have no control over what is to be done as far as helping him. It's really not my place but there is no action being taken with him at all and it's very frustrating to watch him go through this.

I wish I had as much motivation on cleaning as you do. Jeez.

I saw the kids that night and Faith was so cute. Gage look like he always does, scary HA HA, tell him I said that. Let buddy know I am very proud of all the great work he has done. His repord was great and I am glad to see he is sticking with the boy scouts. I think the scouts have been good for him.
