I as well as my hubby have been so stressed out lately. His job is still worrisome in that we never know when or if they will let him know. We have been struggling so bad as of late and I still can't find a job. Now we are looking for a new place to live. I truly believe that the house is keeping me sick with my allergies and it needs so much work and we can't do it. I want as well as my hubby to get the kids in a safer place. The problem is the bankruptcy and possibly a forclosure at some point. We need to rent or rent to own and aren't sure how we can get anything because of our credit now. UUUUUGGGGGHHHHHH!!!! How do we do this and still find a place to go. I just want to cry (and I have) . What do we do ? Where do we look for help? oh my gosh, i am sorry for your troubles, i haven't worked in 4 years, now i am starting up a daycare. licensing is going to cost over 100 but my sister is having the state help her with family daycare so they are paying me 1.30 per hour so the past two months with long hours has been $1000. i haven't been paid yet and probably won't be until sometime next week. it has been very stressful but there is hope that this will fund my licentiate and i will be able to get 4 bucks per kid.Hang in there and remember to stick together and not to blame each other, you are on the same team. money is such a cause for couples to fight and we tend to forget we love each other more then money. i have faith that you guys will be OK you are loving and talented and wonderful, you guys will make it, you are in my prayers.
Aww, Michelle, I'm sorry to hear things have been so awful. I'm just about the last person in the world to help you with anything money/house related but I will definitely keep you and your family in my prayers. Be strong chica- I know you're one amazing lady and you can get through this.

Congrat's on the daycare thing, I hope to eventually be able to do that 2. We are sticking together and actually communicating about the whole thing. I have done some research and I might be able to get disability for my depression just not sure I want to fight it out yet. Anyway thanks for sticking with me.

I am so sorry to hear of your financial troubles right now. This is enough to stress out anyone. I have no good advice, but perhaps a financial counselor could advise you? I have heard there are usually some that do pro-bono (free) work for those in dire need.
