Since we have been have higher than normal temperatures the last couple of days ( In the lower 70's) we decided to have a cookout. Randy got some cheddar brats and I went after the charcoal and picked up onion and bell peppers. I decided I wanted to make baked beans also. It was so good and makes me want to go camping even more. Here are the photo's.
I forgot the ketchup in the pic for the baked beans but they are easy to make. Cut the bacon up small and put ina skillet with some cut up onion till cooked well. In another pan add the pork & beans with some brown sugar to taste (kind of sweet), add some ketchup and barbeque sauce ( I prefer hickory flavored for these) and stir and simmer. When the bacon is done add it and stir again . Cook for about 15 min to 25 min. or till thickened up some.
I sliced up the bell pepper and onion and put them on the grill with the brats till they were done. Eat and Enjoy!
