It's My 35th Birthday Today!

Well today is my 35th birthday. I quit celebrating a few years ago, but over the years I have had some good birthdays. One time in high school my mom got Randy (my hubby now) and a couple of my other friends to keep me in the school cafeteria for a delivery I didn't expect. My mom had sent a singing Gorilla gram with flowers to me at the school in front of everyone. I was so emabarrassed.

Most of my birthday parties growing up were halloween birthday party celebrations. Everyone would come dressed up in costumes and we would just hang out , eat cake, chips, bob for apples, listen to music, we always had a good time.

This year Randy of The Way I See It got me what I wanted a new Bible. He also got me a a cpl of t-shirt's. I feel birthday 's are really special even if you don't celebrate them like when you was a kid. I just hope this coming year is a lot better than the past few.

Faith's 4th Birthday Party

Randy of The Way I See It and my baby girl turned 4 today. We celebrated her birthday Saturday the 11th. Gage had went to spend the night Friday with his god parents. He made i t to sis's party. SO on saturday morning the 3 of us went out to eat breakfast at Denny's, then we went to the local mall to look at the store Steve & Barry's. When we got back home I had to finish decorating for Faith's birthday party. I made her cake Friday night. She wanted the Mr. Men Show (cartoon network), so I drew all the characters for the decorations. Here are some of the photo's of the pary. She really had a blast.

This poster is Mr Nosy and Mr Small, we played pin the nose on Mr. Nosy.

Faith being silly.

Faith's Bday Cake; Mr. Bump

I made a cardboard cutout of Little Miss Sunshine for the kids to pose in and Sindi of Life is a Rollercoaster and her hubby did too.

Poem : Went To A Party Mom

I recieved this in an an email which I did forward on to some to be signed and sent back to MADD (Mother's Against Drunk Driving). I wanted to post the poem because it made me cry and it speaks a lot of truth.

Went to a party Mom

I went to a party,
And remembered what you said.
You told me not to drink, Mom,
so I had a sprite instead.

I felt proud of myself,
The way you said I would,
that I didn't drink and drive,
though some friends said I should.

I made a healthy choice,
And your advice to me was right.
The party finally ended,
and the kids drove out of sight.

I got into my car,
Sure to get home in one piece.
I never knew what was coming, Mom,
something I expected least.

Now I'm lying on the pavement,
And I hear the policeman say,
the kid that caused this wreck was drunk,
Mom, his voice seems far away.

My own blood's all around me,
As I try hard not to cry.
I can hear the paramedic say,
this girl is going to die.

I'm sure the guy had no idea,
While he was flying high.
Because he chose to drink and drive,
now I would have to die.

So why do people do it, Mom
Knowing that it ruins lives?
And now the pain is cutting me,
like a hundred stabbing knives.

Tell sister not to be afraid,
MomTell daddy to be brave.
And when I go to heaven,
put ' Mommy's Girl' on my grave.

Someone should have taught him,
That it's wrong to drink and drive.
Maybe if his parents had,I'd still be alive.

My breath is getting shorter,
Mom I'm getting really scared
These are my final moments,
and I'm so unprepared.

I wish that you could hold me Mom,
As I lie here and die.
I wish that I could say, 'I love you, Mom!'
So I love you and good-bye.

Stupid Remarks

I received this an email and just had to share with all of you!

If you don't know GOD, don't make stupid remarks!!!!!!!

A United States Marine was taking some college courses
between assignments. He had completed missions in Iraq and Afghanistan .
One of the courses had a professor who was an atheist and a member of the
ACLU. One day the professor shocked the class when he came in. He looked
to the ceiling and flatly stated, 'God, if you are real, then I want you to
knock me off this platform. I'll give you exactly 15 minutes.' The lecture
room fell silent. You could hear a pin drop. Ten minutes went by and the
professor proclaimed, 'Here I am God. I'm still waiting.' It got down to
the last couple of minutes when the Marine got out of his chair, went up to
the professor, and cold-cocked him; knocking him off the platform. The
professor was out cold. The Marine went back to his seat and sat there,
silently. The other students were shocked and stunned and sat there looking
on in silence. The professor eventually came to, noticeably shaken, looked
at the Marine and asked, 'What the heck is the matter with you? Why did you
do that?' The Marine calmly replied, 'God was too busy today protecting
America 's soldiers who are protecting your right to say stupid stuff and
act like an idiot. So, He sent me.'
