Looking for answers

In my Sunday school class we are studying from a book by Gary Poole "How Does Anyone Know God Exists?"

I find this an interesting subject because I have always been in search of my faith especially as of late. I am finding my faith but I think this is a touchy subject especially with all the different religions out there. You have science and religion, athesist, pantheisic, polytheistic and etc.. points of view.

Questions asked in the book are "Is anyone out there?"

"How can rational people believe in miracles?"

" What is God really like?" and more. This book draws on all points of view and you ultimately make the decsion for yourself. It should be an interesting discussion. In a previous post I put some pictures of the inside of the church I attend "What's been going on" I finally got a picture of the outside of the church.

I attend Centenary United Methodist . Since attending the church again here recently I have felt different, it's hard for me to explain but trying to overcome my depression it is helping as well as talking to a counseler, my loving and forgiving hubby Randy (The Way I See It), and all of my friends. Hopefully I will beat the depression and find my faith in everything else. Have a great one everybody.

Halloween Time

Well Halloween is almost here one of my favorite times of the year. I miss having our Halloween parties but maybe next year. I love to see kids costumes and I love to take our children out Trick or Treating. It takes me back to when I was a kid and my dad would take me out all over the neighborhood trick or treating. I would get loads of candy usually a couple bags full. Now a days you have to be more careful but the kids do pretty good. I take them to family and around a park and to some churches that do Trunk or Treat ( people put candy in the trunks of their cars and sit out in the parking lot of the church to give the kids candy or toys.) Both my kids like to do that. Over the weekend we had to go to a couple of Halloween parties. My cousin was throwing one for the 4H poultry club. We had to go their to give her the eggs I made for here party. We stayed long enough for me to get a few pictures.

The first pic is what my cousin made that she called catepillar, and the second pic is string cheese fingers.

These pics are our daughter Faith standing next to a couple of the decorations they put up for the party.

This is my cousins daughter Lindsey dressed up for the party as Cindy Lou Who.

This is my cousin dressed as a cloud in her hand is a spray bottle. She would say Partly cloudy with a chance of rain and then squirt you.

I didn't get pics from the other party because it was to dark but it was a Halloween birthday party. There was a bon fire, a haunted hayride, and a haunted trail. The kids had a blast.
Here are pics of our daughter Faith in her costume for this year. She is The Little Mermaid Areil. Sorry The pics are blurry I forgot to change the settings. Have a good and safe Halloween.

Frankenstein's Eyes

I used to have Halloween parties every year and everyoone would have a blast. I would come up with some crazy looking food for everyone to eat. Actually most of the food came from magazine articles but just the same everyone enjoyed. We would decorate the house outside and all through the house for these parties. Well I wanted to share a recipe I use to do for the parties. You need eggs, mustard, mayonaisse, red gel and black chopped olives. Hard boil the eggs and devil them like you normally would, add a black olive to the center of the egg halves and place red gel around the olive to make red lines. Wah Lah Frankenstein's Eyes. Enjoy and Happy Halloween.

Worth Sharing

A father wanted to read a magazine but was being

Bothered by his little girl, Shelby.

She wanted to know What the United States looked like.

Finally, he tore a sheet out of his new magazine on

Which was printed the map of the country.

Tearing it Into small pieces, he gave it to Shelby and said, "Go Into the other room and see if you can put this together.

This will show you our whole country today."

After a few minutes, Shelby returned and handed him The map, correctly fitted and taped together.

The Father was surprised and asked how she had finished
So quickly.

"Oh," she said, "on the other side of the paper is a
Picture of Jesus..

When I got all of Jesus back where
He belonged,

then our country just came together."

Happy, Happy Birthday Sindi

Today is Sindi of Life is a Rollercoaster birthday. Sindi and I have been friends since kindergarten. We have always been there for one another and she has totally been an awesome friend to me. Sindi has seen the hell I went through with my parents and has been wonderful in all things. She is the greatest person to talk to no matter the situation and even loves to pick on me, because I am exactly 1 week older than her. Let's all swing by her page and wish a wonderfully happy birthday.

My soul Guardian

I seen this quiz on Amel's page and decided to try it for fun this is my result.

A faerie watches over you. You are charming and cunning. You have a way with people that you can lead them and they will follow. You're active and ambitious. You're smart and outgoing. You're faerie is always by your side. Whether or not you may always see it, your faerie is always there, keeping an eye on you and protecting you. You're faerie is like your conscious. It will always lead you down the right path.
